yeah, it's pretty easy to miss unless you've actually seen the show but la cienega is a mtf trans woman! it was actually the first broadway show to feature a teenage trans character and she gets to kiss a boy in the finale, it's very cute.

we are the tigers actually has four confirmed queer characters, two in canon (kate and eva) and two by the creator (cairo and mattie). a huge chunk of the cast is queer too and it's just great all around so, like. i definitely recommend it!
