what i do and don't do

what i will do

• I can make icons from live action, animated, and comic sources no problem.
• I also icon manga, if you don't mind black and white.
• I can make video game icons, with some limitations. See the FAQ for more details about video game icons.
• If you want Broadway icons from shows without a proshot, I can also usually manage. These count as celebrity/pb sets.
• Speaking of celebrity/pb sets, I can do those too. You have to collect the images or direct me to a specific source to screencap (like an interview), though.
• So yes, I can screencap sources but it costs extra if it's over 10 minutes.
• If your source was shot on a moonless night, I can color correct dark sources for an extra fee. I'm not a miracle worker, though, so keep that in mind.

what i won't do

• I do not icon fanart. Not for commissions, anyway.
• I don't color or redraw manga icons. Ask someone else if you want the fancy stuff, but I will blank speech bubbles and clean up the background.
• I don't make animated gif icons.

Extra Dark Screencaps: US$3 extra. Please see the FAQ for more information about whether or not this applies to your source.

Screencapping: US$1 per 30 minutes I'm screencapping. Screencapping sources up to 10 minutes is free.

Live Action or Animated: US$0.10 per icon.

• 20 icons for US$1.
• 60 icons for US$5.
• 300 icons for US$28.

Video Games: US$0.10 per icon.

• 20 icons for US$1.
• 60 icons for US$5.

Celebrity/PB: US$0.10 per icon.

• 20 icons for US$2.

Comics or Manga: US$0.15 per icon.

ordering

1. Email me (reiligotbawls@gmail.com) using the template provided at the bottom of this section! Make sure to put something about icons in the subject line. You can also leave a comment below (they're screened) or DM me on Discord, if you have my Discord.

2. I'll get back to you (usually within a couple of hours, unless I'm asleep) to confirm how much it'll cost you and ask any clarifying questions you or I might have.

3. Once all of that is confirmed, I'll start on the icons and hopefully get the icons to you in 24-72 hours, depending on how many and what addition services are being requested.

4. Once I've delivered the icons, you can Paypal the money to the same email listed above. :)

How many icons can I order?

The minimum number of icons is 20. As for the maximum, it depends on the medium! The maximum for live action or animated icons is one batch of 300 and the maximum for video games is two batches of 60 for 120. For both celebrity/pb and comics/manga, the maximum number of icons is 50. These limits are a bit flexible, so if you want more you can send through the request and we can talk about it.

What kinds of video games do you icon?

If it's photorealistic or has non-pixel sprites, you can send the request through. Think Mass Effect, The Last of Us, Uncharted for photorealistic. Fire Emblem, The World Ends With You, Dangan Ronpa are examples of sprites I work with. I'm not very good with pixel sprites, so you should ask someone else for those types of icons. You can get a sense for the types of games I'm comfortable working with from the examples above, I think. It's stuff that's similar to the animated sources I icon!

Why are comics icons more expensive?

Joking answers aside, that gif is a pretty good example of the process involved in comics icons. I erase backgrounds if they're too busy for a small icon, blank speech bubbles if I can't fully erase them, etc. It's just more work overall, so they're more expensive. It's also why I don't offer batch discount prices for them.

What constitutes "extra dark" screencaps?

The general rule of thumb is if you were to turn the brightness all the way down on your phone and couldn't clearly make out what a screencap is of, then it's "extra dark." Here are a few examples of screencaps from scenes that were shot on a moonless night and need a lot of extra attention when I'm iconing:

Basically: if whatever you'd like me to icon primarily takes place at night? Your screencaps are probably extra dark. If you want me to icon a modern horror movie, your screencaps are definitely extra dark. Vampires Diaries? Julie Plec when I catch you. Don't worry about it too much if there's only one or two scenes like that, though—Paprika wouldn't count, for example, even though it's up there in the examples.

Can you also find sources to screencap?

Generally, yes! You can always ask, but usually if it's recent or not particularly niche, I'll be able to find it easily or already have it. If you want a Broadway set from a show without a proshot, however, I'll let you know what's possible and if I can manage what you want or you can provide me with an exact source to icon from.
